Can Quickbooks quotes be accepted online/electronically?

Hi deeptisoni,

Thanks for posting in the Community! You can change the status of the quotes in QuickBooks Online if the customer accepts the work or decides they don't want to continue. First thing you'll need to do is to create and/or send a quote to your customer.

Here's how to change the status of a quote:

  1. Go to Bookkeeping, select Transactions, then select All Sales.
  2. Find the quote.
  3. In the Action column, select the dropdown▼ and then Update status.
  4. Select Accepted or another status. Then select OK.

For more detailed information, you can check on this article: Create and send quotes in QuickBooks Online.

Let me know if you have any other questions with quotes. I'm here to help you.

@deeptisoni

If you are running a service company, you can utilize a proposal management app to integrate with QBO.

Can Quickbooks quotes be accepted online/electronically?

Hi, Can the customer accept the quote from the email and/or link in the email sent through the quickbooks app/website?

@IonEdgeElectrical

I would recommend to use a proposal management app to integrate with QBO as the workaround.

Can Quickbooks quotes be accepted online/electronically?

It's great to see you here, Ion.

Absolutely! The customer can accept the quote from either the email or the linked content in the email, all managed through the QuickBooks app/website.

In case your customers didn't receive the quotes via email, you may need to reset your email address:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Navigate to Settings ⚙, then choose Account and Settings.
  3. Go to the Company section, then click Edit ✎ in Contact info.
  4. Review each email address and make changes as needed.
  5. Choose Save, then Done.

If solution 1 is not applicable, kindly advise your customers to review their junk mail and spam directories. Should the email remain elusive, let's clear it and then re-enter your email address. For detailed steps, please check out Steps 2 and 3 in this article: 3 solutions for you when customers aren't receiving your emails.
