With regards to Square, we only offer synchronisation of transactions from Square to QuickBooks as an app integration. The only direct invoice payment option we currently offer is via PayPal.

We don't have an exact time frame as to when will the option to use Square as a payment on invoice be available. For now, you can only sync Square transactions with QuickBooks Online.

Ive just come across this discussion thread. Im surprised that Pay pal is the only option for receiving card payments. Given that we can integrate square transactions. It makes sense that Square could be used to accept card payments.
Many small business owners use square. I personally use it for my retail and online transactions. I use quickbooks for invoicing private catering.
Im not really keen to have another platform for receiving payments. For the moment I just have the details to pay by direct debit on the bottom of the invoice.

Since our Merchant Services are only available in the US and Canada, we can send a request to our product developer about using Square as your receiving payment alternative. This way, they'll see your suggestion and consider adding it to the next program update.

As a workaround, we can utilize a third-party application and look for an app that can manage receiving card payments for your invoices. You'll want to check the list within your account in the Apps tab and press Find Apps. Then look for apps in the Search bar or locate them in the Browse Categories dropdown. You can also visit directly through this link: QuickBooks Apps store.
