Does Quickbooks support e-invoices

Hi there, @j_versloot. Now that I'm here, I'll gladly share some details about e-invoicing in QuickBooks Online (QBO), so you can proceed to complete your task.

In QBO, you can create an invoice and send it to your customers via email. You can enable the online delivery option to add e-invoicing to your company. To begin, here's how:

  1. Access your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Click the Gear icon at the top of the main page.
  3. Under Your Company, select Account and Settings.
  4. Click Sales on the left.
  5. Click Online delivery.
  6. Set Email options for invoices to an Online invoice from the drop-down.
  7. Click Save and Done.

Once everything is set, you can now send an e-invoice in QuickBooks. Here's how:

  1. On the left navigational bar, click the +New icon
  2. Select Invoice.
  3. From Customer ▼ dropdown, select a customer.
  4. Check the appropriate payment method boxes in the Online payment section.
  5. Fill out other details.
  6. Click Save and send.
  7. Confirm the preview of the invoice, and modify the subject or body message if needed.
  8. Ensure the payment methods are checked off, then click Send and close.

Also, if you've set up the Accept Card Payments with PayPal app, your customer can then pay for their invoice using a debit card or credit card, processed by PayPal. They can also pay with their PayPal Wallet.

See this article for more information: Create an invoice your customer can pay online.

In addition, I've got you this article about customising invoices in QBO: Customise invoices, quotes, and sales receipts in QuickBooks Online.

Lastly, feel free to check this page in case you'd like to customise a report in QBO to show the status of your invoices: Customise reports in QuickBooks Online.
