Hi, how do you delete a Payment Term?

I had a couple of goes at setting up payment terms the way I wanted by 'Add New' but can't seem to delete the ones I don't want

I'm here to help ensure you're able to remove a payment term in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

While there isn't an option to permanently delete payment terms, QBO allows you to hide them. To do so, you need to open the Terms page and make the one you don't want inactive.

 

I'm glad to show you how:

  1. Click Settings , then choose All Lists under Lists.
  2. Select Terms.
  3. Click the Report report ▼ drop-down menu, then choose Make inactive.
