You can change your GST code for your bookkeeping method to enter a different GST rate for your invoices, Jenny. I'll share more information about this.
If you're using Simpler GST, please know that the GST amount is predetermined and fixed by default. As a result, you won't have the ability to modify this amount.
On the other hand, if you'd like to switch your GST bookkeeping method from Simpler to Detailed, I recommend contacting our Live Support team so they can assist you further regarding GST codes.
You can check your Tax settings section to verify if you're account has been set to the Simpler GST code, follow the steps below:
- Go to the GST from the menu.
- Click the Settings dropdown button.
- Select Tax settings.
- On the Tax settings page, you can see the GST codes you're currently using.

For more information about managing your GST codes, please see this article: Edit GST settings in QuickBooks Online.
Additionally, I've added this helpful article if ever you want to update your GST rates: Change custom GST rates.
