How do I save item sales prices that are edited while creating an invoice? I do not want to have to edit each individual item through the Products and Service tab.

How do I save item sales prices that are edited while creating an invoice? I do not want to have to edit each individual item through the Products and Service tab.

Thank you for visiting the QuickBooks Community. I'll be sharing different information on how you can save the edited price item and ensure that this will display when creating an invoice.

 

In QuickBooks Online, it’s easy to track how much you make and spend on each product or service. You can always enter those products and services when you sell them. This way, you can quickly add them to your sales forms. With this, you'll have to go first to the Products and Service section when updating the item's price. This is only the option to save the edited price and ensure the changes reflect on the Invoice page.

 

Additionally, you also have the option to open your QuickBooks account in different tabs or windows. Then, open the Products and Service section on the other window and the Invoice page from another one. That way, you're able to save the item sales prices that are edited while creating an invoice. Please note that you'll need to refresh the Invoice window every time you update the item details in P&S on the other window to appear the newest information.

 

Please refer to the articles below on how you can change the item type to help you categorise the products and services for better tracking. Then, reverse the income account with your items in QuickBooks Online to ensure your company has an accurate record of your transactions.
