Hello there, kim.rotary54.
I'll provide insights on how emails work in your invoice and ensure you can smoothly manage them in your sales entries.
Please know that when sending an invoice within QuickBooks Online, quickbooks@notification.intuit.com is the default email address entered in the Email field. With this, modify the email address in the From field as your company email is currently unavailable.
For now, you can connect your Gmail account to the software to send out entries, but only one Gmail address can be used. You can refer to this article on how to perform the process and how it works: Send invoices from your Gmail address FAQ.
On the other hand, since the customer email is displayed in the From field instead of the default indicated above, a cache full of history and temp files could cause this unexpected behavior. I recommend opening your QBO account in a private browser. Then, organize the email address for your sales transaction from there. This is to rule out the possibility of a webpage issue, and incognito doesn't store local files or cache.
Use these keyboard shortcuts based on the browser you're using:
If it works in incognito, you'll have to clear the cache of your regular browser. This removes the history or log of sites so you can start with a clean slate. If the steps above don't work, use another supported browser as an alternative.
In case you need to view the status of your sales transactions like open paid invoices, you can read this article: View sales transactions in QuickBooks Online.
Please don't hesitate to reply to this thread if you have any other questions regarding handling your invoices in QBO. I'm just around to help, kim.rotary54. Take care!
