My invoices will not send via email, keep getting invalid email when I know it is correct

Hi coastal_bookkeep,

Thanks for posting in the Community! Let's do some browser troubleshooting to get rid of this error when sending an invoice to your customer.

First, sign in to your QuickBooks Online account using a private browser. This helps isolate the issue since it doesn’t store data in the cache. Here are the following keyboard shortcuts:

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: CTRL + Shift + P
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + P

If it works, here's how to clear cache and cookies to fix issues when using QuickBooks Online. Restart your browser right after. If not, try using other browsers. Furthermore, you can also try to re-enter the customer's email address and save it.

For your reference, you can also check this article: 3 solutions for you when customers aren't receiving your emails.

Feel free to drop a comment below if you have any other questions. Have a nice day!

My invoices will not send via email, keep getting invalid email when I know it is correct

Hi tried clearing the cache and it didn't fix the problem.  It looks to me that it will not accept any emails with an .au domain.  Can this be looked at as all my customer emails end in .au

Thanks

Thanks for trying the suggested browser troubleshooting, coastal_bookkeep.

With the customers that are not receiving the emails, could you please make sure that they have added [email address removed] & [email address removed] listed as a safe sender?

Once done, kindly try to resend an invoice to your customers. Sometimes by default, their email settings will block certain senders from sending emails to their inbox.

If you get the same error message after adding Intuit email on the safe sender, I would recommend to please contact our support team to further check on it for you.

Feel free to post again if you have any other questions. I'll be around to help.
