When making an invoice I have to manually add payment details. Is there way to permanently add this for all invoices in the mobile app?

Hello, steph084.

At this moment, setting a default invoice template through the mobile app is not possible. However, using your web browser, you can still customize your payment details and preferences in your default invoice template. Once done, you can easily use that template to create invoices through the QuickBooks Online mobile app.

  1. Click on the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Custom form styles.
  3. Hit on the invoice Default template.
  4. Tap on the Design tab, and click on Add your EFT details.
  5. Check if that template has the payment details.
  6. Press Dive in with a template, see what is used, and verify if the payment details appear on the preview to the right.
  7. Click on Done.

However, In QuickBooks Online, the template options for mobile apps include the following styles: Airy New, Airy Classic, Modern, Fresh, Bold and Friendly. These templates are designed to provide a visually appealing and user-friendly experience for mobile users.

  1. Airy New: This template has a clean, minimalist design with plenty of white space. It features a modern and elegant look, making it suitable for showcasing contemporary content or products.
  2. Airy Classic: This template combines a timeless and sophisticated design with a touch of simplicity. It has a balanced layout and uses classic typography, making it ideal for presenting traditional or professional content.
  3. Modern: The modern template is characterized by sleek lines, bold typography, and a minimalist aesthetic. It offers a fresh and contemporary look, making it suitable for various purposes, from creative portfolios to tech-related websites.
  4. Fresh: The fresh template exudes a vibrant and energetic vibe. It incorporates bright colors, playful elements, and a dynamic layout, making it perfect for websites or projects that convey youthfulness and creativity.
  5. Bold: The bold template is all about making a statement. It features strong typography, striking visuals, and a confident design. It is ideal for projects requiring a strong visual impact or conveying a sense of power and authority.
  6. Friendly: The friendly template focuses on creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It utilizes soft colors, rounded edges, and friendly illustrations to create a welcoming and approachable design. It is suitable for websites or projects that aim to connect with users personally.

To add any of these templates to your mobile device in QuickBooks Online, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your QuickBooks Online account.
  2. Go to the Settings menu by clicking the Gear icon in the top right corner.
  3. Select Custom Form Styles from the dropdown menu.
  4. Click on the New Style button to create a new template.
  5. Choose the desired template style from the available options (Airy, Modern, Bold, Fresh, and Friendly).
  6. Customize the template by adding your company logo, changing colors, fonts, and other design elements as needed.
  7. Save and apply the template to your mobile invoices, estimates, or other forms.

By selecting one of these mobile templates, you can enhance the appearance and usability of your QuickBooks Online forms on mobile devices.

Thank you for your reply. I have checked my invoice template on the computer and everything is there but when I do an invoice through the mobile app it's missing the EFT details.

Thanks for checking your invoice template and for confirming that the EFT details are already added. Let's try to uninstall and reinstall the mobile app and then try to open or create a dummy invoice.

Thanks again for helping. Uninstaller and re install mobile app. Created new invoice and previewed what the customer would see and the EFT details aren't there.

Thanks for the update, Steph.

You'll have to make sure the invoice template that has the EFT details is your default template. Let's log into your QuickBooks Online (QBO) account via a web browser to do so. I'll gladly show you how.

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Custom form styles.
  3. Find your invoice template and select the Edit drop-down arrow.
  4. Choose the Make default option.

Log back into your QBO mobile app. It should now display your EFT details when previewing your invoices.

In case the issue persists, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team. They can further investigate and look for the root cause of this issue and guide you with a fix in no time.
