Why isn't the app working i can't open or create an invoice for the last 2 days I've updated app, cleared cache , restarted phone, internet is fine. not good enough

Hi, Chrisstuttard. May I know what is happening when you try to create or open an invoice? Did you receive a specific error message?

 

Since you've already done the standard troubleshooting, I recommend uninstalling and reinstalling your app to replace any corrupted program files that the cache clear cannot reach.

 

If the problem continues, refresh your data within the QuickBooks app. This forces the app to rebuild its database from the cloud rather than just clearing temporary files:

 

For Android Users:

 

  1. Go to the Home menu or tap the three dots in the upper-right corner.
  2. Tap Settings, then choose Refresh Data.
  3. Tap Yes to confirm.

 

For iOS Users:

 

  1. Open your device Settings, then tap General.
  2. Tap iPhone Storage and find the QuickBooks Online app.
  3. Tap the Offload App to clear cached data while keeping your login information.

 

Once done, try creating or opening an invoice through your app again. If the same issue happens, please contact our QuickBooks Online Live Support team for immediate assistance.

 

Alternatively, you can create and open your invoices by signing in to your QBO account using any supported mobile web browser.
