We appreciate the feedback, @Sammyjoe1309.
Currently, having a credit limit field for your supplier is unavailable in QuickBooks Online. That said, I'd suggest submitting your feedback about this feature.
Please know that your voice matters, all enhancements, and improvements to QuickBooks are largely the results of feedback provided by users like you. Here's how you can send feedback:
- Click the Gear icon.
- Select Feedback.
- Click Next and choose Feedback under the Category option.
- Select Save.
You can also submit your request through this link: https://feedback.qbo.intuit.com/.
Though, I’m unable to provide a defined time frame when this feature becomes available. As a workaround, you can enter it in the Notes field in QuickBooks Online.
Here's how:
- Go to Sales.
- Click on Customers.
- Select a customer and click on Edit.
- Click on Notes.
- Enter the credit limit.
- Click on Save.
You can also check for any third-party app that works perfectly with QuickBooks Online, that will set up credit limits for your suppliers. See this find apps article for detailed guidance.
In the meantime, I suggest visiting our QuickBooks blog to keep you in the loop with the latest features and improvements in the system.
