How do i pay a subcontractor when employee is the only option shown on the Dashboard with Essentials 30 day Trial?

In QuickBooks Online for Australia, you'll want to add the sub-contractor as a Supplier. This way you can record their payments.

Let me show you how: 

1. From the left menu, select Expenses and then choose Suppliers. 
2. Click on the New Supplier button.
3. Enter the sub-contractors information.
4. Click Save once done.
