Hi rooffx,

 

To set up an RDO in QuickBooks Payroll, you will need to create a new Pay Category, then a new Leave Category, called RDO. When setting up the Leave Category, choose the Payment Setup option as Report the earnings for the leave taken against another pay category, with that pay category being the RDO one you created.

 

Then, you need to add the RDO hours of each employee. To do this in the pay run, select the employee, then select Actions, and Adjust Leave.

 

Finally, take the RDO in the pay run. Select Actions, then Take Leave. Then, enter the RDO hours for the employee.
