I used to use Reckon and have since moved to Quickbooks online. I pay Intuit monthly. I have now received a bill from Reckon for 1 year's licence. Do I have to pay this?

Hi enquiries14,

Just want to clarify, Reckon and Intuit QuickBooks are two separate companies. Up until around 6 years ago, Reckon sold QuickBooks Desktop to the Australian market and since the introduction of QuickBooks Online in 2013, Reckon handles all QuickBooks Desktop (now called Reckon Accounts Hosted) enquiries.

In regards to this bill from Reckon, I would recommend contacting Reckon for further clarification with this. You do not pay this bill to access Intuit QuickBooks Online, as you are already paying us monthly.

Hope this clears things up!
