Hi there, Rodney. First, you'll need to have access to the account before you can cancel it. You can ask your client to invite you as one of their users. You'll then receive an email invitation to access your client's QuickBooks Online (QBO) company.

Before canceling your client's inactive account, ensure to export their QBO reports, lists, and other data as an Excel file. This will be useful for the upcoming tax filings.

To successfully cancel the account, you can call us for free at 1-800-350-468 to connect with one of our representatives. Our team is ready to review the account and discuss other options.
