Can i add a P & L report displayed by quarters to the management reports? Ie showing Sep Dec Mar June quarters and YTD?

Hi nicslat,

 

Thanks for posting in the Community! Let me share with you some information on how to run a Profit and Loss comparison report and customise it before adding it to Management Reports. 

 

To run a Profit and Loss Comparison report by quarter: 

 

  1. Go to Business Overview and select Reports.
  2. Search for Profit and Loss Comparison
  3. Set the report period to Jan-Mar.
  4. On Compare another period, select Previous period.
  5. Tick Custom period, set the report date to Apr- Jun.
  6. Select an Accounting method
  7. Select Run report.
  8. Select Save customisation
  9. Enter Custom report name.
  10. Then select Save.

 

On the report, you'll be able to see two columns for two quarters. You can do the same process to run the other two quarters. Then we add those in Management reports. Here's how: 

 

  1. Go to Business Overview and select Reports.
  2. Go to Management reports.
  3. Select Create management report
  4. To add the custom reports created, select Reports on the left pane. 
  5. On Report dropdown menu, select the reports you've customised earlier. 
  6. Set the Report period
  7. Once you've added all the reports, you can click on Save and close
