Does anyone know if you can change your company's country in Quickbooks Online Accountant? My firm is set as Australian right now and I need to switch it to US.

I've searched everything online with no results. I saw some answers saying I need to create a new account, but I have multiple subscriptions connected to my firm's account and remaking all of them and getting re-certified feels like a real-time waste for such a small issue.

Hello there, Zach.

I'm here to share more information about changing your QuickBooks Online country.

The answer you saw in the post is correct. When creating your QuickBooks Online account, the action to select a country is irreversible. You'll have to set up a different QuickBooks account and enter the correct region. Then, to avoid double charges, you can cancel the current one.

You can click this link if you want to purchase a new account: QuickBooks Online Plans & Subscription.

Then, you may add your client again using your new QuickBooks account.

As for the certification, I have good news for you. With QuickBooks, you can now transfer your certification to a new account. All you need to do is make sure that you have access to the ProAdvisor Training tab using your new account, then contact us to submit a transfer request. To make sure you have access to the ProAdvisor Training tab (using your new account):

  1. From the left drop-down menu, go to the ProAdvisor tab.
  2. Switch to the Training tab.

I've also added these references as your guide in managing clients:

Feel free to keep me posted whenever you have concerns about managing your client's books.

@zach-meyers-spar

Elaborate your situation. If you are having a QBO Accountant AU account, you can only connect it to QBO AU accounts as the Accountant Firm. You can't connect QBO Accountant US account with QBO AU accounts.
