The answer you saw in the post is correct. When creating your QuickBooks Online account, the action to select a country is irreversible. You'll have to set up a different QuickBooks account and enter the correct region. Then, to avoid double charges, you can cancel the current one.

Then, you may add your client again using your new QuickBooks account.
As for the certification, I have good news for you. With QuickBooks, you can now transfer your certification to a new account. All you need to do is make sure that you have access to the ProAdvisor Training tab using your new account, then contact us to submit a transfer request.
