Hi I am having an issue connecting to the bank account. I have tried quite a few times at different times & cleared my cache

Thanks for visiting the Community, @annc52

There are times that a financial institution (FI) have multiple bank names but only release one website to connect. To make sure that you're using the correct listing to connect your bank, let's search your bank in QuickBooks using your bank's URL. Here's how:

  1. Go to your bank's website and login to your online banking.
  2. Verify that you're able to see your transactions.
  3. In the search bar, copy the URL link. Example: www.chase.com.
  4. Log out to your online banking account.

Once done, go back to your QuickBooks Online account, then follow these steps below to find and connect your bank:

  1. Go to the Banking menu, then select Add account.
  2. Paste your bank's URL in the Search field.
  3. Search for your bank and select it from the list.
  4. Select the link for your bank's website, then click Continue
  5. Enter your online banking credentials. Follow the onscreen instructions if your bank needs additional security steps.
  6. Select the date range for the download, then select Connect.

You can now categorise transactions to add them to your books.

In case you're having problems downloading transactions or get an error, follow the steps to resolve specific banking error in this link: What to do if bank transactions won't download or there's a bank error.

I'd also appreciate it if can you please specify the name of the bank you're trying to connect and if you have received an error code or message?

Any additional information can help me scrutinize the issue of finding a resolution. Take care.
