How can i change the accountant on Quickbooks?

Hi Capita, 

 

Each QuickBooks company can have up to two accountant firms listed at a time. If you are added to a company as an accountant or bookkeeper, you are unable to delete other accountant users unless you are the Master Administrator on that company. If you are a Company Administrator or the Master Administrator on the file, though, you will be able to edit, delete and add a new accountant into the company. 

  1. Go to the Gear icon in the top right and select Manage Users
  2. Click on the Accounting Firms tab at the top of the page
  3. Click on the green Invite button and fill in the accountant's name and email address

If there are already two accountant users listed, you will need to delete one of them before you will be able to add another. If you have any questions about this process, feel free to reply in this thread and we'll be happy to help further.
