How do i change the country in quickbooks

Hello, g-stclair1010-gm.

I'd like to help you out with the details in changing the country in QuickBooks.

Are you trying to change the country version for QuickBooks Online? After signing up for a subscription under a specific country, we're unable to switch to a different one.

Though, you can sign up for a new subscription under a new country by going to this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/choose-country/.

You may use the same login credentials when singing up. If you no longer want to keep the previous subscription, you'll want to cancel it to prevent unnecessary charges

However, are you simply trying to change your home currency or use different currencies in your current QuickBooks Online subscription? You can use the Multi-currency feature for this.

Here's how to change the home currency or use multiple currencies:

  1. Click the Gear icon, then select Account and settings
  2. Go to the Advanced tab.
  3. Expand the Currency section.
  4. Select a specific currency under Home Currency.
  5. If needed, you can also toggle Multicurrency to On (We're unable to disable this once turned on).
  6. Click Save and Done

The Multicurrent feature is available in Essentials and Plus versions. More details can also be found here: Turn on and use multicurrency.

Looking forward to connect your bank account and categorise your transactions in QuickBooks? Check out this article for more details: Connect bank and credit card accounts to QuickBooks Online.

I'll extend a helping hand again if you have more questions regarding your QuickBooks Online subscription. Do you need help with your transactions and data? Let me know and I'll cover the details on my reply. I'll see you next time.

Where is your company located? Do you need to switch from QBO AU version or another way around?
