How to send a link to accountant?

Welcome to the Community, @info-ahns.

You're referring to inviting an accountant in QuickBooks Online (QBO), correct? If so, the steps to do this are pretty easy. Here's how:

  1. In QBO, go to the Gear icon at the top right to get to the Manage Users
  2. Click the Accounting firms tab, then enter the accountant's email in the desired field.
  3. Select Invite and hit Save once done.

To learn more about the process, consider checking out this article: Invite or remove an accountant.

How to send a link to accountant?

Hello RichieTSydney,

At the moment we're unable to add users/accountants in the QuickBooks Self Employed version. Adding and inviting an accountant in QuickBooks is currently available in the QuickBooks Online Simple Start, Essentials, and Plus versions.

You'll have to download your data through excel and manually send it to your accountant. Here's how to export reports and transactions port:

  1. Click on the Reports tab.
  2. Select the report you want to download.
  3. Select the Tax period.
  4. Click on View or Download.
  5. Click on the drop-down arrow icon.
  6. Click on Print or Download.

To download the transactions:

  1. Click on the Transactions tab.
  2. Select the Type, Account, and Time period for the transactions to download.
  3. Click on the Export icon.

You can then save the data and send it to your accountant via email or print the report.

To learn more about exporting transactions in QuickBooks Self Employed, you can check this link Export transaction and get reports in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
