I can help you fix this, Susan.

It's possible that the date wasn't filtered correctly that's why it doesn't show your net income accurately. You can try adjusting the report date of the Balance Sheet to show all your income for the whole year. Here's how to do it:

  1. Select Reports from the sidebar menu.
  2. In the Business Overview section, choose Balance Sheet.
  3. From the Report period drop-down menu, select This Year.
  4. Click the Run report button.

If they're still unable to view your net income for the whole year, I recommend performing some basic browser troubleshooting steps to isolate the issue. At times, the stored cache in your browser becomes corrupted causing unusual behaviors in the program. You may start by accessing your QuickBooks account in a private/incognito window. Feel free to use these shortcut keys:

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N

Once you're in, please run the Balance Sheet again. If it's now accurate, you'll have to go back to your regular browser and then clear the cache to get rid of the accumulated junk files. You can also use other supported browsers as an alternative.

Additionally, I've included some articles that will help you streamline the reporting process in QuickBooks Online:
