Hi showtime872,
Thanks for posting in the Community!
There's no reported product investigation concerning the BankWest error connection. However, our Care Team received multiple reports from our customers getting an error connection with their BankWest accounts in QuickBooks Online.
Let's perform some basic troubleshooting steps to isolate the situation. Here's how:
I'd recommend also signing in to your banks website for any messages or prompts that needs your attention or updating your banks password. And then, go back to QuickBooks Online to manually update your bank connection by clicking on Update button.
If the issue persists and still not updating, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Support Team. They have the right tools to further check your bank account connection and escalate them to the banking engineers.
In the meantime you can manually upload your bank transactions using a CSV file format or can manually enter them using invoices or expense transactions. You can check this link for a more detailed information: Import Bank transactions via CSV [VIDEO] and Fix specific bank errors.
Post again in the Community if you have more questions. I'll be around to help you.
