We have a reported product investigation about the ABN number is showing as VAT # field in company settings. Engineers are aware of this issue and this is being worked on. Engineering teams were able to produce a fix and are now testing the resolution. We will let you know once fix is completely released to production.
If you have further concerns or questions, feel free to reach out to our Customer Care team through the Help icon in your QBO file and click on Contact us. And you can provide the investigation number INV- 106434 Unable to add ABN in company settings as the field is greyed out and it is showing VAT# instead of ABN in company settings. That way, our team can add you to the list and you can get notifications via email once a fix is deployed.
