I am trying to get authorision from Intuit to be the administrator to my own QBO account as our bookkeeper sadly passed away. Intuit /QBO and keep denying my application, I have added as much info as needed for 50/50 partnership. The online application is quite clunky to navigate. Drops out after appriximately10 seconds.

I'm here to help you attain full access to your QuickBooks Online account to get back on business.     


In the case of a Partnership 50/50 business, we have to provide the following:  


  • Your photo ID (driver's licence, government-issued ID, or passport).
  • Your business partner's photo ID (driver's licence, government-issued ID, or passport).
  • Letter of permission from your business partner.


And ONE of the following business documents indicating the owner/leadership by name and title:


  • Company Constitution.
  • Current ASIC Company Extract (no more than 7 days old) - The ASIC Company Extract can be purchased online through ASIC Connect and shows the current directors and shareholders of a company as registered with ASIC.
  • The latest BAS filing payment record.
  • Shareholders agreement.


Additionally, we have to provide one of the following: 

  • Proof of Transfer of Ownership.
  • Power of Attorney.

After preparing the mentioned documents, we can fill out the form. Then, Intuit will review your case. Once done, you'll receive an update about the status of your request through an email from 


If the request is approved, you'll be notified that the role has been transferred to you. You just need to sign in using the email address you provided us the next time you access QuickBooks.  


However, if disapproved, we will inform you of the steps you can take. If there are missing documents, illegible, or don't meet the criteria for approval. Fill out the form again and upload all required documents for your security.
