We have found that Standard users with limited access can open the business overview and see information that the client does not want them to see

Hi there, @neil17. We appreciate you getting in touch with us.

 

Can you specify which information you want to keep off-limits to standard users? On the Business Overview page, the sales and purchase information is visible to standard users with limited access.

 

You have to review the user permissions and ensure that the appropriate access levels are assigned to each user. For example, a standard user with limited access should not be able to see sensitive business information that is not relevant to their job functions.

 

You can take the following actions to modify their access:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top right of QuickBooks Online and select Manage Users.
  2. Select the user whose permissions you want to adjust.
  3. Click on the Edit button next to the user's name.
  4. Select the appropriate access level.
  5. Click on the Save button to keep the changes.
