Hi sian2,

 

You can batch send remittance advices after saving the batch payment, by navigating to the Expenses tab, and ticking the Bill Payments you want to send out.

 

Then, select the Batch Actions drop-down menu and select Send remittance.

What about wen the batch was created for a future payment date (when bills are due).  Does the remittance get sent on the date of the batch payment or when you click "Send Remittance"?

Yes, when you include the future payment in the batch and click the Send Remittance, it will also send on the date of batch payment.

can you provide the basis upon which your reply was made?  a QBO online chat support agent said the remittance is sent when you click "send".  When I have tried this, similarly, the remittance is sent when I click Send.....there is no ability to schedule it for a later date, nor for the date of the payment......

You're right. The remittance is sent when you click the Send button.

thanks. I've posted and submitted freature requests - could you please also pass this on to the dev team - there needs to be a feature to enable either future scheduling of remittance or automatically sending it on the payment date of the batch payment NOT when "send" is clicked.
