Hi there, strolls-stamina. QuickBooks Online doesn’t allow you to amend or create new Detail Types, as these are predefined based on the selected account type and designed to follow standard accounting practices.
If the available options don’t align with your business needs, you can select the closest match, customize the account name for clarity, and add more context in the description field.
