Hi, I am trying to reconcile my bank however QB isn't showing a transaction that is on the last date of the statement, it is showing that transaction on the next day?

Thanks for reaching out to us with this.

 

Reconciliation can be a bit tricky sometimes, especially if you don't see transactions that you expect to be there.

 

Do you think it might be possible that the transaction you're looking for has not successfully come through?

 

If so, you can definitely use a CSV file from your bank with the missing transactions on there to then manually import to your QuickBooks bank feed.

 

It might also be the case that you have already reconciled the transaction, which in that case won't show up in the 'To Reconcile' pile.

Hi Kristian, 

 

Thanks for your reply. I can see the transaction, but in QuickBooks it is dated 4/3, which puts it onto the next month's statement. On the bank statement it is dated 3/3. Does that make sense?

Thanks for giving me some more information.

 

Like I said previously, reconciliation can be tricky sometimes which is why it is best if we can troubleshoot this via Live Chat or on the phones.

 

The agent who picks this up can then ask you to share your screen to get a better understanding of what is actually going on.

 

In regards to reconciliation, the issue and solution can come down to a number of different things and without a live visual it can be extremely difficult.
