If you haven't set up your Multi-currency feature, you can change your Home currency any time through the Gear icon > click the Account and settings > click the Advanced tab > Look for the Currency section.
However, if you've already turned on Multi-currency, QuickBooks Online does not allow you to change the home currency of an existing company file (e.g., from CAD to USD).
If you require a different home currency (e.g., USD) after activating the Multi-currency, the only solution is to create a new QuickBooks Online company file with the correct currency selected. Ensure you export and save a backup of your existing data before beginning this process.
