Hi, Benmetal. We can only achieve a zero balance difference by correcting the transactions that are causing discrepancies in the reconciliation.
Deleted transactions need to be reentered so they can be included in the reconciliation. To view a deleted transaction, go to the Audit Log and click View. For more details, see this guide: Use the audit log in QuickBooks Online.
Next, restore the original amounts of any edited transactions by locating and updating them. You can use the Audit Log as well.

If the account has been reconciled before, use the Reconciliation Discrepancy Report to review past changes. For guidance on correcting discrepancies and completing the reconciliation, see: Fix issues with your beginning balance for accounts you've reconciled before.
Once the account is reconciled, we recommend closing your books for that period to prevent accidental changes.
