How to view transaction changes in the audit history

SOLVEDby QuickBooks7Updated 2 weeks ago

The Audit history serves as a record of all the changes made on a specific transaction. In the Audit history, you can find the following information:

  • Who made the changes.
  • When the changes were made.
  • What the changes are.
Note: Only users with full access rights will be able to view the Audit history.
  1. Open the transaction you'd like to investigate.
  2. Select More.
  3. Select Audit history and this will open the Audit trail.
  4. For an expanded view, select Show all, for a side-by-side comparison, select Compare.

If you need to keep track of changes made to a company file, check out: How to use Audit logs.

That's it. You now know how to view transaction changes in the Audit history.
