I want to add invoices to quickbooks from my emails

Hi there, jkthaulage. You can easily upload bills and receipts to QuickBooks using the Forward from email feature. This automates data entry by pulling information directly from your attachments.

 

Here’s how:

 

  1. Head over to the Accounting menu on your sidebar and select Receipts.
  2. Look for the option that says Forward from email.
  3. Enter a customised email address ending in @qbodocs.com.
  4. Take a quick second to verify the address you typed, then just click Looks good to finalize everything.

 

Simply forward your digital invoices or receipts to your new custom email address. QuickBooks will automatically identify and extract the transaction date, total amount, vendor name, and the last four digits of the credit card directly from the uploaded image.

 

Once processed, your invoices will appear in the Receipts tab under For Review. Review the details, assign the correct category, and click Save to add them to your books.

 

Keep in mind that this email doesn’t support auto-forwarding, so you’ll need to send them directly. Be sure to forward receipts and bills from the email address you use to sign into QuickBooks.
