If I accidentally marked a bank transaction excluded, can I undo that?

Thanks for checking in with us, userapril.

If you accidentally exclude the wrong transaction, that’s easy to fix. You can go back to the Excluded tab. Then, select the checkbox for the transaction and tick the Undo button. The transaction goes back to the For Review tab so you can decide what to do with it again. To learn more about excluding transactions, see the Exclude a bank transaction you downloaded into QuickBooks Online article.

Once done, you can match or add downloaded transactions into QuickBooks. Then, review your work and make sure everything is correct in the Categorised or Reviewed tab. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select the tile for the account you want to review.
  3. Go to the Categorised or Reviewed tab.
  4. Choose the link in the Added or Matched column to review the transaction.

If you need to change or move a transaction to a different account, follow these steps to undo or unmatch it. For more details about this one, check out the Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online article.
