Most banks update transactions in QuickBooks every night around 10:00 PM, though times can vary. To assist you further, could you provide the name of your bank? This information helps us check for updates or security features that may impact your connection.

In the meantime, you can refresh the connection by manually updating the bank. Here's how:

  1. Go to All apps, then Accounting, then Bank transactions.
  2. Select Update.
  3. If you get another verification message, follow the steps on your screen to complete the update.

Next, check that the bank's connection status is green, and see if there are any known errors associated with your account. Then, proceed to Step 3 in this link for further troubleshooting to fix the transactions that are not updating.

If you'd like to get your transactions right away, you can upload them manually. Download the data from the bank and map the transactions into a CSV or QBO file.

When the online banking connection is restored, the bank might re-download transactions that were previously missed. To avoid duplicates, go to the For Review tab, check the box next to each duplicate transaction, and select Exclude.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, don't hesitate to reach out. We're here to help.
