This app keeps crashing and won’t let me connect to my bank accounts. What’s going on

I'll make sure that you can successfully connect your bank accounts, angelasna66.

 

As you use the mobile application, it accumulates cached data to quickly load the components and information. At times, these files become corrupted causing unusual behaviors and runtime errors in the app. To isolate the issue, you can delete the stored junk files by clearing the app data. Here's how to do it:

 

For Android:
 

  1. Go to your device's Settings.
  2. Choose Apps (varies by device), then locate QuickBooks Self-employed from the application list.
  3. Select Storage.
  4. Tap Clear data.

For iOS:
 

  1. Go to your device's Settings.
  2. Select Setting General iPhone Storage.
  3. Find QuickBooks Self-employed from the application list.
  4. Tap Offload App.

Once done, let' try connecting your bank accounts again. If the issue still persists you can restart your device and then uninstall and reinstall the app. It could be that a certain component of the app was damaged and it's preventing you from connecting your bank account.
