Thank you for bringing this to our attention, @cprmaintenance4870. Whatever is set in the Message to customers box determines what shows on your transaction email.
Since the old payment message is showing alongside the new payment details, let’s review your template to ensure there’s no lingering text causing this duplication.
To ensure that your template isn't corrupted, I recommend creating a new one. Once you've done that, let's generate a brand new test transaction and see if the duplicate message is gone.
If the issues persist, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Live Support team. Our experts can take a look at this behavior and ensure your messages appear clean and professional.
- Click on the Help icon, then select the Search tab.
- Hit the Contact Us button.
- Enter a keyword or brief description of your concern in the box, then Continue.
- Choose either Chat or Callback for help.
