Are you getting an error when accessing the Payroll tab in your QuickBooks Online account? If yes, there is a reported product investigation under INV-112754: Unable to access Payroll tab due to an error "Something unexpected happened...We're very sorry, but something has gone wrong.". Our payroll partner has been notified about this issue to further investigate.
I recommend contacting out Customer Care Team. That way, your QBO Company will be added to the investigation list. And you'll be notified via email once a fix has been deployed.
To contact support:
1. Click on the Help (?) icon in QBO.
2. Click on either Assistant or Search.
3. Using Search option, click on Contact Us.
4. Enter a short summary of your issue.
5. Click on Continue.
Drop by again in the Community if you have other QuickBooks concern.
You have clicked a link to a site outside of the QuickBooks or ProFile Communities. By clicking "Continue", you will leave the community and be taken to that site instead.
