Does anyone know how to add jobkeeper payment?

Hi Danielle

For employees who are earning $1500 or more per fortnight in gross earnings, nothing needs to change, you can continue to use the same the pay category and report STP as normal.

For those earning less than $1500 per fortnight in gross earnings, you will need to create a "top-up" amount to bring their gross earnings up to $1500 per fortnight.  This top-up amount needs to be recorded as an allowance.

Note: The naming convention of this allowance is very important and must use a specific description.

You will need to complete the three following tasks to properly set up JobKeeper

  1. Create the JobKeeper "top-up" pay category
  2. Create a pay category for the "JobKeeper Start Fortnight"
  3. Create a pay category for the "JobKeeper Finish Fortnight"

Full instructions on setting these up can be found here: Set up and manage JobKeeper payments

Hope this helps :)
