Hello there, pb091161.

QuickBooks Online will start deducting the leave benefit when the employee is working in your company for more than five years. If the employment period is more than the specified period, let’s go to the Long Service Leave page and make sure it’s properly set up.

Here’ show:

  1. Tap the Employees menu on the left panel to choose the Payroll Settings tab.
  2. Hit the Leave Categories link under Pay Run Settings.
  3. On the Leave Categories page, select Long Service Leave to view the complete setup.
  4. Under the Automatically Accrues section, make sure the boxes for Hide accruals from payslips and Hide balances from payslips and in employee portal are not selected.
  5. If they are marked, clear them so the accruals and balances will show on the payslips.
  6. Click Save to keep the changes.

For more details, check out this article. It contains a list of the accrual rate per state as well as steps to configure the Long Service Leave feature. How do I?
