How resubmit TFN-declaration

Let's try to do some browser troubleshooting to isolate on what might be causing the issue. Let's access your QuickBooks Online account using private browser to see if we get the same result.

A private browser does not store any activities, which is why it's a good idea to use it for any unexpected behavior in the program.

Here are keyboard shortcuts you can use depending on the browser you're using:

• Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N  
• Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P
• Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P
• Safari: press Command + Shift + N

If you're able to access your account without an error, then go back to your default browser and clear your browser’s cache. It is a good idea to clear cache, to remove the temporary internet files and to help the application function properly. Please consider using different browser too.

To re-lodge select Clear lodgement before submitting again. This can be done if you need to make changes to the original submission and need to lodge again. Any changes to an employee's tax settings will automatically clear any previous ATO lodgement status and change the status to "not lodged". This will allow you to lodge the employee's declaration again.

I am using Win10, Edge.

I have now:-

- Flushed the cache

- Tried a Private Window

- Access login from an Android tablet (browser access)

The option to submit is still Grayed out.  Pressing Save gives the expected TFN details have been updated message.  Unless there is another setting I need to set in a different area, I believe I have everything saved.

I'm changing a brand new employee from 'Casual with no STSL' to one who does have one.  I have set the associated radio button to Calculate STSL on taxable earnings.

Thank you for getting back and doing the browser troubleshooting. Can you confirm if the TFN entered on the employee's profile is correct? Once you've clicked on Clear lodgement on a Tax File Declaration, you will see a ATO TFN declaration form link which will provide you some options on how to lodge your TFN declaration.

The tax number is correct.

Have re entered every piece of info on that page.  No change.

The link tells me how to bypass Quickbooks, to do the submit.

I will delete the new employee and start from scratch so I can proceed but this does not address the apparent issue with the program.
