Hi Kath5, 

 

If you have recently made changes to existing pay runs and they are now finalised, to relay this new payroll data to the ATO you will be looking at running a Update Event. To get this done please follow the steps below

 

  1. When in the Employees tab select Reports
  2. Then on the right-hand side select Single Touch Payroll 
  3. In the correct financial year, in the top right you will see the option to create Update Event
  4. This will bring a up a new screen with all the employees and their current/or amended year to date figures.
  5. By lodging with the ATO your changes you made to JobKeeper info will also be sent and can be visible in the Allowances column.

My employees are not listed there? How do I get them listed in the single touch payroll update event?
