Hi DToz,

Thanks for posting in the Community! Let's do some browser troubleshooting to get rid of the error when trying to enter your employee's BSB number. There are times that the browser is already full of frequently accessed page resources (cache and cookies) causing some unusual responses. To isolate this, let's sign in to your QuickBooks Online using a private browser or incognito window.

Here's the keyboard shortcut depending on the browser you're using:

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl Shift
  • Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift
  • Safari: press Control Option
  • Microsoft Edge: press Ctrl + Shift +

Then, login to QuickBooks Online and try to enter your employee's BSB number again. If this works, kindly go back to your default browser and initiate a clear cache and cookies

In any case, the troubleshooting provided above is not working, you can contact our Customer Support Team to further check on this for you in a secure environment.

Feel free to post again if you have any other questions. Have a nice day!

Hi, thanks for the instructions

I followed them but unfortunately they didn't work, Quickbooks still says its invalid.

Can't Quickbooks just add the BSB to its list of valid BSBs to remove the error message? There must be other Quickbooks customers who need to enter that BSB? (Its a Westpac BSB)

Thanks
