I am unable to terminate my employees when I click actions > terminate. There is no error message at all. What should check?

I am unable to terminate my employees when I click actions > terminate. There is no error message at all. What should check?

Terminating an employee in the payrun is just a piece of cake and you can follow the steps below:

 

  1. Make sure the Employee/s is already added in the payrun.
  2. Click on the actual name of the employee.
  3. Click the green "Actions" button.
  4. Select Terminate Employee.
  5. Enter the Termination Date
  6. Click Save.

 

Note: In case you're unable to terminate the employee with or without any error, it is important to check if there are any unfinalised payrun and finalise it. You may also try considering the troubleshooting steps below:

 

  1. Try to switch to different browsers like Chrome|new incognito, Safari and Firefox.
  2. Try other computer.
  3. Check/validate if other users are experiencing the same.
  4. Delete and recreate the pay run (If applicable).
  5. Login to other website to access payroll like keypay.com.au and quickbooks.yourpayroll.com.au 
  6. Try to access it using QB app in PC. (You can download it for free using this website quickbooks.intuit.com/download) and If still not working please proceed to step #7.
  7. Get a screenshot of the console log (this can be done by pressing control+shift+J altogether in your keyboard for windows and command+option+K for Mac)
  8. Contact support if still not working.
