Leave request(Employee Portal) and Director's Drawings

I am interested in Quickbooks Online for our AU, UK and US entities. And I am testing out some features on trial versions. Could I please ask a couple of questions as follows;

 

  • Payroll: Can Leave Request be set up via the Employee Portal in a way that Team Managers can approve leave requests rather than Payroll team?
  • Payroll: We are paying Directors as Director’s Drawings and the Direcotors are not entitled to superannuation. It is coded to Equity accounts. We are run the Direcotor’s drawings in payroll because we want to track their leave balance. We don’t report this in BAS or IAS. Under STP compliance, will this be included in the reporting?

Leave request(Employee Portal) and Director's Drawings

For AU accounts, we’ve partnered with KeyPay for our payroll service. They will be able to answer your questions about leave request approval and the reporting of director’s drawing.


Here’s how to contact them:

  1. Go to Employees.
  2. Click the Payroll Support button in the lower-right hand corner.

For US and UK accounts, entering a leave request is not available right now in QuickBooks Online Payroll (QBOP). However, it will become available to UK accounts when the QuickBooks Online Advanced Payroll (QBOAP) will be launched soon.
