I would like to clear the error message on a pay run and text below is from the support screen for this error message. I have tried lodging an update event but QB still does not show this pay run as submitted to the ATO. Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you
"This message indicates that the ATO has already received the event and that it has been lodged multiple times. This may have occurred because there was an issue processing the response the first time and so an attempt at lodgement was made again. If you are trying to submit an original pay event to make a correction, try submitting it as an update event instead."

You can check the STP submission to the ATO or ATO portal to confirmed if they've received the submission. If they have, you can contact our Customer Care Team to update the status of the pay event in your QuickBooks Online Payroll account.
