Unscheduled Payrun

I have an employee leaving on Friday and want to pay them at the end of the day.

This will need to be an unscheduled payrun as it is outside of our normal fortnight.

As I have not prepared an unscheduled payrun before, can you please confirm that this won't upset our usual fortnightly schedule?  i.e won't change the set up of the schedule?

I'd hate to run this unscheduled pay run and then find out next fortnight that all my dates have changed.

Thanks

Unscheduled Payrun

Hi shereey,

I can confirm that if you were to create an unscheduled payrun, you will still be able to run your Fortnightly pay schedule as normal. Essentially, each time you create a pay run you have the ability to change the starting date period by first adjusting the ending pay period of the payrun when your date ranges appear.

If you would prefer to run this unscheduled payrun without using the Fortnightly roster set up to avoid confusion you could consider running an Ad Hoc payrun. You can click here on the steps here on how to process this type of pay run and then can follow the steps by clicking here to set up a new pay schedule for this Ad Hoc payrun.

This way the pay schedule and pay run would specific to the employee and their leave period.

If you need any further assistance with these steps please don't hesitate to get in touch with our friendly support team by clicking here.
