Print a customer or supplier register in QuickBooks Online

To print the Customer or Supplier register, create and customise a report from the Customer or Supplier list.

Some of your reports will look different depending on whether they're in the classic view or new enhanced experience. Learn more about the new enhanced experience.

With QuickBooks Online Advanced, you can create your own reports using Custom Report Builder.

Balance detail report

If you like to see all transactions of a customer or supplier, run a Transaction Detail by customer (payee) or supplier report. The Running Balance Detail report for a customer or supplier that has 0 balance will give you a report with no data.

Follow this link to complete the steps in product

1. Enter “balance detail” in the Find report by name dropdown to search for a report.
2. Select Customer Balance Detail or Supplier Balance Detail.
3. Select the More actions dropdown, then select Print/Save as PDF.
4. Adjust your report print settings as needed, then select Print.

Transaction detail report

Follow this link to complete the steps in product

1. Enter "Transaction detail" in the the Find report by name dropdown to search for a report.
2. Select Transaction Detail by Account.
3. Select your preferred date from the Report period ▼ dropdown.
4. Select Pivot.
5. Select Rows/Columns, then select Customer or Supplier.
6. Select Filter.
7. Select Customer or Supplier name from the ▼ dropdown, then select the customer or supplier you want to have the report.
8. Select More actions dropdown, then select Print/save as PDF.
9. Adjust your report print settings as needed, then select Print.

Note: Currently, QuickBooks Online doesn't have the capability to print the customer or supplier register. If you think this feature will be beneficial to your business, send us feedback or product suggestions.
