Customer Service

This has been the absolute worst customer service experience I've had in a long time. I've contacted 3 different numbers to have someone help me with my self employed account. My problem is after I finish filling out the 'Set up Payment' option so that customers can pay me through their invoice, it gives an error after I click submit. I really thought QuickBooks would have decent customer service, but one agents sends you to the next and you get no where. Seems like a shell company to me. I honestly just need someone to email or contact my cell phone.  This has been very painful. I've followed all the tutorials and its an error within the QuickBooks Self Employed system. I really want to make people aware that the customer service here is brutal and don't expect much help from anyone. I cant believe I'm paying for this service/software. I'll be amazed if this issue can be resolved, please help or Ill move on to another software provider. Thanks! Alex

I understand it can get very frustrating having to get a call back and not having any response. I promise Quickbooks is here to help. We appreciate your feedback. You can reach out in one of these ways:

 

Phone: Call us at 1-855-253-1536 from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 AM and 8 PM EST.
Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat

You need to apply a QB Payments account to accept payments and they need time to evaluate it. If they declined your application, you may utilize a 3rd party payment processor or switch to another accounting app.

I can clarify what's happened here.

 

QuickBooks Self-Employed support is accessed by reaching out to a chat team as there is no phone support for that department. This is part of the reason why the agents you reached with the numbers you called were unable to assist. I'd also like to note that the support options outlined above are for QuickBooks Online rather than QuickBooks Self-Employed. To reach support for QuickBooks Self-Employed, please take the following steps.

  1. Select the Assistant feature.
  2. Type and enter "talk to human" in the chat window.
  3. Follow the prompts to reach support.
