I need to add an accounting firm as a user but when I go into Manage Users there is no tab for Accounting Firms

Hello, 

 

Adding your accountant to your QuickBooks Online account is an essential step for many small business owners. This will make it easier for both you and your accountant to make sure your books are up-to-date and organized. I'd be happy to walk you through the steps for adding an accountant to QBO.

 

Here's how to invite an accounting firm: 

  1. Go to Settings ⚙ and select Manage users.
  2. Select Accounting firms.
  3. Select Invite.
  4. Complete the required fields and select Save.

Keep in mind:

  • You can invite up to 2 accountants .
  • An accountant user doesn’t count toward your user limit unless the accountant is also the company’s master admin.

Your accountant will get an email with instructions to access your company. 

 

That's all there is to it! Now your accountant can get into your account to get their work done.
